The botryoidal Purple Chalcedony that was recently discovered in Indonesia is known as Grape Agate. Only one locale has been discovered so far, making this a very uncommon and costly stone. Dark purple to light lilac or lavender is some of the colors available. Green-colored specimens are extremely unusual among purple veins, and even bi-hued green and purple pieces have been discovered! These are among the rarest, as they are the epitome of "Grape Agate." When looking to buy one of these stones, it's critical to make sure you're dealing with a reputable dealer. Dirty or barely purple pieces have been colored and are rather prevalent on the market.
