Red Tiger’s Eye belongs to the tectosilicate mineral family and is yet another form of quartz.
It begins its life blue and as nature takes its course turns gold.  Then more magic, from nature or man and the gold turns to red...Spectacular!
 
Tigers Eye must be one of the most loved stones.  At first I thought was just the gold variety, then more colours started appearing into my consciousness!  It even comes with iron ore and in hues of blue, green gold and red.  Maybe theres more I've yet to see!
 
Metaphysical
Being a red earthy looking stone, makes for an easy connection to Mooladhara (root) chakra and the chakra of Mama Gaia.  Red Tigers Eye can be used to connect our root to Sahasrara Chakra via  Shushumna Nadi (our energy pathways located behind the spine)

    Thank you very much for the crystals, they are very smooth to the touch and have great energy. I love the energy of the stone, which is probably chert in gray. Meditating with this stone easily connects me to a very deep place in my psyche and at the same time opens my throat chakra wide and heals my emotional body. I am able to face past losses with a very calm mind. The brown and black pieces are both silicified wood? The black crystal is very strong and grounding, giving a sense of stability, as if it were rooted in the ground. The brown one is partially translucent, and with a relaxed, calm, full-body energy, I feel a clear energy flowing through my chakras and pathways like water through a tree. The green crystals were also very wonderful! Each crystal has a very powerful and unique energy and I love it.
